Make your next holiday carbon neutral
Drishti beach house is trully an ecologically sustainable holiday accommodation.
Considerable time has been invested benchmarking energy and water consumption, waste production and disposal as well as complying to the integrated environmental and social policy and building code of the Sunrise at 1770 estate. These measures today continue to deliver an ongoing reduction of non-renewable resources and help secure a sustainable and ecological future for us all.
- Only 100% renewable energy will be consumed during your stay at Drishti which is sourced from photovotatic solar pannels installed on the roof.
- In 2008 Drishti will prevent over 2.74 tonnes of greehouse gas emissions from being released to the environment, which is the equivalent of taking 3 cars off the road or planting 137 native trees.
- 48000 litres of rain water storage means Drishti never has to rely on town water supply.
